My name is Kirby O’Such, and I grew up in the food industry. My parents owned a deli and a catering truck, so I know firsthand the highs and lows of running a small business — especially the stress of watching the bills and trying to make the numbers work at the end of each month.

Credit cards were always a convenience for customers — and often led to bigger sales — but my parents felt the downside every time someone swiped their card. The processing fees ate away at their profits, little by little. I remember them constantly worrying about those fees, knowing they were losing money just because a customer used a card instead of cash.

That’s why I started MK Merchant Services.
You could say I didn’t choose this profession — it chose me.
